How to play

  1. Each day has one secret English word. You have 20 attempts.
  2. Type any English word. It uses one attempt and shows whether the secret word comes earlier or later in the alphabet. The letters on the left show where it can still be.
  3. Hints show the word length, part of speech, syllables or category. They use 1 to 3 attempts, the stronger the hint, the more it costs.
  4. Find the word with as many attempts left as possible. After today's puzzle you can replay earlier days in the archive.
