2. Überblick

Unclue ist ein kostenloses Wortspiel. Es gibt keine Benutzerkonten, kein Kontaktformular, keine Kommentarfunktion und keine Werbung. Ich setze keine Cookies und binde keine Schriften, Skripte oder Inhalte von Drittanbietern ein, mit Ausnahme der unten genannten Hosting-Infrastruktur und der optionalen Reichweitenmessung, die nur mit deiner Einwilligung startet.

3. Speicherung im Browser (localStorage)

Das Spiel speichert deinen Spielstand (Tipps, genutzte Hinweise, verbleibende Versuche) und deine Statistik (gespielte Spiele, Siege, Serie, Verteilung der Ergebnisse) sowie dein gewähltes Farbschema lokal in deinem Browser, außerdem deine Entscheidung zur Reichweitenmessung. Diese Daten verlassen dein Gerät nicht und werden weder an mich noch an Dritte übertragen. Sie sind erforderlich, damit das Spiel funktioniert (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG). Du kannst sie jederzeit in den Einstellungen deines Browsers löschen.

4. Hosting und Server-Logfiles

Diese Website wird bei Cloudflare, Inc., Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA gehostet. Beim Aufruf der Seite verarbeitet der Hoster technisch erforderliche Daten in Server-Logfiles, insbesondere die IP-Adresse, Datum und Uhrzeit des Abrufs, die aufgerufene Datei, die übertragene Datenmenge sowie Browser- und Betriebssysteminformationen (User-Agent) und gegebenenfalls die Referrer-URL.

Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Mein berechtigtes Interesse ist der sichere und stabile Betrieb der Website. Mit dem Hoster besteht ein Vertrag zur Auftragsverarbeitung. Der Hoster hat seinen Sitz in den USA. Eine Übermittlung personenbezogener Daten in die USA erfolgt auf Grundlage des EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, dem der Hoster angeschlossen ist, und, soweit dieses nicht greift, auf Grundlage der EU-Standardvertragsklauseln.

5. Reichweitenmessung mit GoatCounter (nur mit Einwilligung)

Wenn du im Banner zustimmst, binde ich das Statistik-Werkzeug GoatCounter ein, um zu sehen, wie oft das Spiel genutzt wird. Dabei wird ein Skript von gc.zgo.at geladen und es werden Seitenaufrufe an goatcounter.com übertragen. Welche Daten genau verarbeitet werden: Aufgerufene Seite, Referrer, Browser- und Betriebssystemname, Bildschirmbreite und das ungefähre Herkunftsland (aus der IP-Adresse abgeleitet), jeweils nur als zusammengefasste Zählwerte. Die IP-Adresse wird nicht gespeichert; es werden keine Cookies gesetzt und nichts im Browser abgelegt. Anbieter ist GoatCounter (Martin Tournoij, Irland); die Daten liegen auf Servern in Finnland und Deutschland.

Rechtsgrundlage sind Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO und § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG (Einwilligung). Du kannst die Einwilligung jederzeit für die Zukunft widerrufen: Klicke dazu im Footer auf „Privacy settings“ und wähle „Decline“. Ohne Einwilligung wird nichts geladen.

6. Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch (Art. 21). Eine erteilte Einwilligung kannst du jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen (Art. 7 Abs. 3). Wende dich dazu an die oben genannte E-Mail-Adresse.

2. Overview

Unclue is a free word game. There are no user accounts, no contact form, no comment function and no advertising. I do not set cookies and I do not embed fonts, scripts or content from third parties, except for the hosting infrastructure named below and the optional audience measurement, which only starts with your consent.

3. Storage in your browser (localStorage)

The game stores your progress (guesses, hints used, attempts left) and your statistics (games played, wins, streak, distribution of results) and your chosen colour theme locally in your browser, as well as your choice regarding audience measurement. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to me or to any third party. It is required for the game to work (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

4. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open the site, the host processes technically necessary data in server log files, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested file, the amount of data transferred, browser and operating system information (user agent) and, where applicable, the referrer URL.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement exists with the host. Further information can be found in the host's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

5. Audience measurement with GoatCounter (only with your consent)

If you agree in the banner, I include the statistics tool GoatCounter to see how often the game is used. A script is loaded from gc.zgo.at and page views are transmitted to goatcounter.com. Exactly which data is processed: Page visited, referrer, browser and operating system name, screen width and the approximate country (derived from the IP address), each stored only as aggregated counts. The IP address is not stored; no cookies are set and nothing is saved in your browser. The provider is GoatCounter (Martin Tournoij, Ireland); the data is stored on servers in Finland and Germany.

The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: click “Privacy settings” in the footer and choose “Decline”. Without your consent, nothing is loaded.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). Please contact the email address above.
